HRDC Presents The BOAR

Go HARDCORE for HRDC's The BOAR (Blueprint Obstacle Adventure Race)!

On Saturday, August 21st, HRDC, and a talented volunteer race committee will host the inaugural 5K & 1K race to support and spread awareness of HRDC's work in addressing youth experiencing homelessness. It is a family-friendly, team-oriented event. It will be open to all ability levels and will challenge team members to problem-solve and overcome obstacles together.

5K Race

The 5K is an obstacle race designed to test your mental and physical strength and challenge team members to problem-solve and overcome obstacles together. It will start and finish at Glen Lake Rotary Park (formerly East Gallatin Recreation Area). There will be prizes. Competitive heats will be available.

1K Race

The 1K is a unique opportunity for individuals of all abilities to participate in an obstacle race.  People with developmental and mobility disabilities are welcome.  We want everyone in our community to experience The BOAR and we are working hard to design obstacles to be inclusive to most abilities. There will be a diversity of prizes.
