Although we hope to see your faces and celebrate raising critical funds for Blueprint we will only hold our event if state and local public health guidance indicates that it is safe for us to do so.
What is Blueprint? Blueprint's Continuum of Care are programs run by HRDC providing housing, resources, and support for youth experiencing moments of homelessness or housing instability. The BOAR is Blueprint's largest fundraiser and helps HRDC continue to provide critical care for youth in our community.
What should I bring? The BOAR is an adventure so plan to get dirty, muddy, and wet! It's suggested to bring a pair of flip-flops, a change of clothing and a towel to change into after the race. We are a cupless event so bring a water bottle - we will have water to fill up on site.
Can I get a refund? We do not offer refunds at this time but you are welcome to find a friend or family member to take your place!
Can I bring my dog to the BOAR? Unfortunately, while we love your furry friend as much as the next race organizers, dogs are not allowed on the course. It's best to leave them at home for the morning.
What's the terrain of the course? The terrain of the course will be mainly hard dirt with uneven ground at times.
Can I push my child in a stroller (1K only)? The 1K course will be designed to include people using strollers. We do encourage you to make sure the stroller can handle the terrain prior to the event.
Are individuals with crutches, canes, or wheelchairs able to do the 1K? Yes. However, we encourage everyone to have a support team to aid them along the race course.
Are individuals with crutches, canes, or wheelchairs able to do the 5K? No, due to the length, time restrictions, and narrowness of the course at points. Adaptive athletes are welcome, please contact email@example.com if you have further questions.
Is there a limit to how big my team can be? No there is not. Make sure to keep an eye out for our fun team prizes like best costumes and team name!

Then, you can "Create a New Group/Team."
And finally, for your additional registrants, click, "Join the Same Group/Team."
Can I skip an obstacle? Yes, if you attempt an obstacle that you simply cannot overcome there will be a challenge for you to complete before you move on. (eg. jumping jacks)
How far is the BOAR? There are two races. One is a 1K run/walk/roll with obstacles that are designed inclusively to be equitable for most all ability levels. The 5K obstacle race is designed to test your mental and physical strength and challenge team members to problem-solve and overcome obstacles together.
Where do I pick up my race packet? Packet pickup will be at Shine Brewing, please check here.
Where do I park? We highly encourage you to carpool! Parking zones are located on The BOAR map.
Will there be parking specifically for individuals with diversabilities? Yes, the parking lot at Glenn Lake Rotary Park will be prioritized for people with diversabilities.
Can I change my shirt size? We do not offer t-shirt exchanges at this time, all t-shirts are unisex and fit standard measurement guidelines.
